Home Work - Handbuilt Shelter. This is the follow up to, and updating of Shelter, which was first published in 1973. Same idea - an eclectic mix of things people have built themselves - this time in a more managable A4 format with 1100 great colour photos and 300 drawings. From Japanese stilt houses to trucks converted to gypsy wagons - if anyone has tried to build it it is probably in this book. AND what I really like is all these structures were built by real people for real people, not a chateau or palace in sight. A wonderful book - I defy anyone not to love it.
